Food

From the moment you arrive with Alpine Highs, we will ensure your tummy is happy! Relax, chat, drink and laugh whilst we prepare memorable meals with love and care.

A glass of bubbly and canapés are served on your arrival day.  If you are getting in late, we’ll prepare a lighter supper of local specialities before you head to bed.

Each morning we will prepare you for an action packed day on the mountain – freshly baked croissants, pastries and bread with a wide selection of jam. Porridge, cereals, eggs, fruit, yogurt and hot drinks will all help to get you going in the morning.

After a great day on the slopes you are greeted by afternoon tea, holding off the rumbles while your delicious evening meal is prepared.
As with most catered chalets we provide a set menu for the week. Three courses of locally sourced, fresh ingredients combine to make a mouth-watering dinner, that will have you eager to find out what tomorrow will hold. Starters which tantalise, mains which satisfy and puddings that delight! All this accompanied by our carefully sourced wine and craft beer brewed in our own microbrewery – Ibex!

In addition to this, we invite you to enjoy a selection of locally produced cheeses on two evenings during your stay.

Throughout your stay, help yourselves to complimentary tea, coffee and fruit juice.  For any additional wine, beer, soft drinks, chocolate or bar snacks, the honesty bar is always open. We also provide beers from our own micro brewery, Ibex beer.  Dave set Ibex up in 2014 and has been steadily growing, suppling a few bars around the Portes du Soleil. Find out more about the beers here: IBEX

Wednesday is normally our staff day off, but you will still have a fresh breakfast laid for you in the morning to get you going! The evening meal and cake will not be served on this night, so this is a perfect chance to explore the restaurants and night life of Morzine. We will be happy to recommend our favourite places to you!

If you have children in your group, we always talk to you prior to arrival to ensure that our kids menu hits the mark.  We offer a split service for groups with children, as we know that the little ones often want to eat earlier and have big appetites! Any worries – just ask!

To ensure your stay is as enjoyable as possible, please advise us of any specific dietary requirements and allergies when placing your booking. If you would like to know the week’s menu in advance, please let us know and we can email it through.

The menu for both Chalet and Apartment Joran is prepared in Chalet Joran’s kitchen during the course of your stay.
